Brad Hay, Broker and Co-Owner
Brad is Owner and Broker of Blue Trail Realty. As a Navy Veteran, Brad brings the same discipline, integrity, and commitment to his work that he learned through his service. His focus is leading and growing our business while ensuring every client and transaction we touch is handled with care and intention. Brad believes in doing things the right way — building trust, staying hands-on, and making sure every outcome reflects the standard we’ve built Blue Trail Realty on.
Kathleen Hay, SC Real Estate Salesperson and Co-Owner
Kathleen has spent most of her career in Finance for her family’s firm Rafferty Holdings and Rafferty Capital Markets. In 2013, Kathleen and Brad began their Real Estate Investment Company, Blue Trail Properties. After three years and five properties, they opened their RE Brokerage, Blue Trail Realty, in Stamford, Connecticut. Kathleen and Brad moved their family, and business, down to South Carolina in 2020. Kathleen mainly handles the Accounting for Blue Trail.
Melissa Bosse, SC Real Estate Salesperson
Melissa comes from a diverse professional background in program management, advisory services, and development. After moving to Charleston 2018, Melissa invested her unique skills, experience, and expertise into real estate and joined Blue Trail Realty Group in 2023. Melissa is focused on client engagement, business development and real estate investment strategy and growth. She is a natural relationship builder who can help deliver the highest standards of client services and business partnerships. Melissa thrives in fast-paced environments and demonstrates initiative for creating and pursuing new opportunities.
Melissa is an undergraduate of Penn State University and received her master’s degree in security policy from The George Washington University. Melissa is a military veteran and served as a surface warfare officer in the US Navy. She also served as a military advisor and legislative aide to several members of the US Congress. Melissa has worked for various global consulting and technology firms focusing on program management, software development, strategy, and governance.
Melissa and her husband Kevin, along with their three children, live on Daniel Island, SC. Melissa enjoys traveling (20+ countries and counting), veterans’ outreach and mentorship, playing tennis, and serving on the Daniel Island School Parent Teacher Association Board.
